Le travail de peinture de Patricia Leroux est à la fois un chant d’harmonie, de couleurs, d’atmosphères

Il s’en dégage une beauté précieuse et une sensualité généreuse : Patricia fixe ce qu’elle voit, ce qu’elle sent, l’âme des choses.

Après une période caribéenne d’où sont nées des toiles aux couleurs chaudes que révèle une féminité exotique, l’artiste à posé ses pinceaux en Polynésie en 1999, pour une étape Marquisienne, puis aux îles de la société.

Si la femme demeure l’élément d’inspiration presque essentiel de sa peinture, Patricia la peint à chaque fois avec des couleurs sublimées tout en osant des matières nouvelles : pastels gras, papiers collés.

La peinture fait partie intégrante de mon existence confie Patricia. Chaque toile est le fruit d’une expérience de vie. Mon travail ne suit aucune idéologie, je travaille sur l’émotionnel tout en usant de l’alchimie des matériaux.

Une démarche artistique simplissime et une quête d’harmonie traduisent le travail artistique de l’artiste qui n’est animée que par la recherche de la douceur, de la pureté, une authentique expression de la beauté à laquelle finalement il n’y a plus rien à ôter ni à ajouter.

The work of Patricia Leroux is a harmonious world of colours and ambiances.

A precious beauty and a generous sensuality emanate from her art : Patricia immortalizes what she sees, what she feels, the souls of things.

After her Caribbean experience where numerous paintings were born, rich in warm and colourful hues, revealing exotic femininity, she decided to move to French Polynesia in 1999, living in the Marquesas Islands, and then in the Windward Islands.

Even though the “woman” remains her essential source of inspiration, Patricia always paints her subject with sublimated colors, experimenting and daring to try new techniques with oil pastels or collages.

Painting is an integral part of her existence. Each canvas she paints is the fruit of her life experience. titlehough her work does not follow any preconceived ideology, her art is inspired by emotions that she translates on the canvas by way of an alchemy of mediums.

It is a simplistic approach to art and a search for harmony, that best describe her work. The paintings of Patricia are the reflection of her quest for softness, purity, and an authentic expression of beauty, where there remains nothing to withhold and nothing to add.
